First, I have none. No gripes about lack of printing, that is.
My gripe is with those who gripe about lack of printing.
Have they considered their argument? I don't think so.
What, when, and where would one need to print a document from a mobile device? Sure something, sometime, somewhere; but more often than not, printing will take place in a location that has a desktop and printer. So, one would arguably be sitting at that desktop printing to that printer. Why would one be using a mobile device while immobile? And, I don't buy the story that folks often print to others' printers while out and about. Occasionally? Perhaps. Often? No. Plus, how convenient is that experience on a laptop, which has full printing capability. Walk it through in your head.
I'm an attorney who is often out of the office at various hearings, depositions, mediations, etc. Never not once have I needed to print from my mobile device.
If one needs to print from the iPad, there are many viable options available through various apps. So, the lack-of-printing argument baseless.
Plus, whatever happened to the noble pursuit of paperless communication?
