Does anyone know a source for printing art on a DVD for a very small quantity (5 discs)? I do NOT want to print on adhesive DVD labels and press them on. I want to print on the DVD itself.

If anyone has access to a printer, I am more than happy to pay someone to do it. I'll supply the media and the art file.

Thanks,

David

I would, but I live in South Africa:eek:

I know you just have to print a few disks, but why don't you look into a Canon Pixma printer, they print on disks with brilliant quality;)

Agree on the pixma, fantastic printers, not sure what the software for printing on cds is like on a mac but the pc one limits the inner circle size to 33mm diameter meaning you may get a white ring.

They shouldnt be too expensive to pick up, the one (ip5200) I have only cost about £90 a while back (not sure on the conversion) and theyre good for more than just the disk printing. Will more than likely be worth it in the long term if there is the off chance of needing to do more prints

You may want to look into the Epson R220/R300/R320 series as well. I have an R220 and it does a great job printing on CDs and DVDs... or is this only in the US? I know the Canon Pixma series only offers CD/DVD printing on models not sold in the US...

The mac software is pretty good, it prints on the whole disk, no white rings;) :)

Unfortunately, I already own three printers (a B&W laser printer, a large-format inkjet and a small inkjet) and adding another would not be good for my marriage. LOL. That's why I am looking for someone to do this for me.
