For some reason when I print my second CPU is being overworked. And this causes most of the time my proc fan to blare up. Any thoughts as to why?

Any more details? What process is taking up the CPU? Is it printing in general or a specific application? Are you using a 3rd party driver of stock mac driver?

Printing any app
Stock OSX drivers
and I managed to capture the offending app... it's at the top of the list

Well, looks like the driver sucks ... it isn't multithreaded, and fails to set up a proper background application priority.

Here's more info, whilst I print out 50 pages...
