Printing to Epson 2200 in OS X

I am constantly having to reboot my computer into OS9 to print my photos because OSX keeps coming up with an error. Does anyone else have this problem or is it my ignorance of printing in OSX. My machine is a dual 1 gig G4 and my OS is 10.4.(whatever the latest is...8 maybe).

There were various problems with Epson's printer driver years ago. I haven't heard anything since then.

Have you updated to the latest from Epson's web site?

Yes ..... always download the latest driver upgrades for printers / scanners

Delete and reinstall the driver

Also remember that the driver is only valid for the ink cartridge it is set up for -- if you switch from Photo Black to Matte Black, and use the same driver, the driver will Stop the print job automatically.
