I have only turned on:

Compass Calibration: For Apps like Maps and Flightradar
Emergency Calls & SOS
Find my iPhone
Setting time zone: For dark mode

The rest is disabled for me.

I have only turned on:

SOS and Find My Phone
Same here.

Dark mode switching seems to work fine without the time zone option being enabled.

Will do the same. Thx for the feedback regarding this issue. If I can save some battery and add another layer to my privacy why not. As a wise man once said “the less they know the better.”

What does the Apple Pay Merchant Identification function do?
It uses your location when using the physical Apple Card to help identify where the card is being used. It shows up on the map in the app.
