I'm on the 12.2 Beta, beta 2. I'm having an issue where Private Relay says Private Relay is turned off for “%@”. (This is not my network name) and that "Your internet address is available to websites and trackers when using "[insert actual network name]". It does this for whatever network I'm on, so it's not only my home network. There's an option to "Turn on for [insert network name]" but the button does nothing.

I've submitted to Apple Feedback, and there are "less than 10 similar reports"

I was curious if anyone else has this issue, and if they've found a way to resolve it.

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue on my 2019 iMac 5K. I had tried to reinstall macOS once but the problem still persist. On the other hand, my 2017 15" MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro MAX are both normal.

I also had this issue and figured out it was a conflict between Private Relay and ExpressVPN (I was trying to run both). Are you also using a VPN?

I do have a VPN, but it's not always on (NordVPN). Was it an issue with the profile?

Hello, I tried again today by erasing my iMac (intel) and re-installing macOS. This has fixed the specific issue. Now the private replay functions normally on my iMac.

The VPN seemed to affect Private Relay even if the VPN was not connected to any server. Try removing NordVPN from your login items and restarting your computer, then switch Private Relay off/on if it still isn't working.

And I had installed NorVPN or ExpressVPN then uninstalled them years before Monterey was published. I think some residue of them probably affected the new private replay function.

I still have this but don't and never had VPN. It works only if I uncheck "Loimit IP address checking" in Network Settings.
