The Optimized Charging toggle located within my Pro 2’s settings won’t stay set.

Here’s what I mean:

Okay, all set, right? Well, not exactly. Here’s what happens when I go back a page/close the app and then view the AirPods’ settings pane again:

Anyone have any similar experiences and/or ideas about why this might be happening? The feature stays enabled fine on my iPhone as well as on my old first-gen Pro. I’ve already tried re-pairing/resetting. Thanks in advance :)

Wow that is bizarre! I've never seen the setting not stick. Have you power-cycled? Is this consistent between software updates?
Hmm, haven’t tried cycling, that may be worth a shot. And thanks for reminding me (and sorry I forgot to mention) that I’m currently running the 16.2 beta on my phone! Perhaps it has something to do with that…

It's possible. Betas are betas for a reason. LMK if cycling / reverting your OS takes care of the problem.

I might just wait until the next beta (hopefully tomorrow!) if nothing else works. I really appreciate your time and suggestions! Thank you! 😊
