Ive upgraded to the AirPods Pro...but i think i prefer the original first gen.
The NC is pretty cool, but the fit and feel and tap to pause on the original...I’m missing.
anyone feel the same or am i mad?

I have both and agreed with you for the first few days I had the pro. Now I can’t go back. Everything about the pro is so much better (except the ability to tap the AirPod, which I still wish the pro had).

How long have you used the Pros for?

You need to give your ears time to get used to the fit, with the right sized tip.

Don’t make the squeeze gestures a reason for returning....that’s just silly. You’ll get used to them & their much better customisation.

I did the same. Returned the pro. Airpods 2 have much better bass. The Pro is almost non-existent. Had perfect tip fit but just don't like the sound-not pro by any stretch. I did like how the pro fit. I also have the Sony WF-1000XM3. Sound is far superior than both Airpod and Pro but they are heavier, fit is a bit wonky and even with the foam tips they won't stay in while running.

I also agree, kind of. I did keep the Pros though, because the ACN is invaluable on public transport, which I use on a daily basis. Much more comfortable than my big Bose headphones and I can finally hear my music, as opposed to with the normal AirPods.

I have the Pros, but have considered going back to the regulars since November. I feel like they were more comfortable. I'd definitely keep both though. The ANC is great in the car and on the mower.

I like my pros way better than the originals. Way more comfortable for me and I love the noise cancellation

I’ve had them for 2 months now. I’m not going back! I paid £250 for them and gave the originals to my daughter(she ain’t giving them up!).
I’m sticking but I’m not very impressed for that price
