Probably an old question (movie purchases in HD?)

If I purchase...not rent....a movie from the iTunes store via my computer, will that movie be HD? I would buy some movies from iTunes if they were in HD. I mean, that's awesome for those of us that don't own Blu Ray players yet.

No. Unfortunately, HD movies are only availble for rental, and only on the TV at that.
