I clicked on a link in a craigslist ad that was supposed to be pictures of the item but turned out to be something weird. The site came up and the URL in the address bar kept switching back and forth between 2 different URLs neither of them loading anything on the page, it remained blank and the farthest the blue loading bar got was half way. After a few seconds I closed the browser. Nothing has seemed to be acting weird but I haven't used it much since then.

Could my ipod have gotten a virus?
If so how do I get rid if it?
can it spread to my macbook pro, or any computer for that matter... or even my LCD TV that has an ipod dock to play music through the TV?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

so its fine to plug in/update with my computer? Are there even viruses for any of the ipod. I've read mixed answers to the question.

There are no iPod viruses. However it is possible for someone to put one on the disk (however this is not possible for iPhones and iPod touches). If you're on a Mac there's no need to worry about it anyway.
