I hope this is the right place to psot this!
I'm looking for anyone spend a lot of time using Garageband? Cos I'm having problems with it. It's not the programme it's how to use it. I've done all the exercises, but for some reason when i create the first half of a song with loops, I can't seem to get any further, mainly because, as in all songs, the music after the first verse needs to change key or whatever to make a chorus and I can't do this properly! I don't see how to change the loops correctly.

I'm not sure if this is my (now) lack of musical knowledge or what!?

I hope someone out there follows me and can help!?

When you first make a song you can choose the key that its made in. After that, when you find loops, you can add them, then go look at the notation. Raise or lower depending on what you want. tell us if that was what you meant.

I use gb x audio tracks so i might not be an expert of loops.

Still, If I remember right each loop is rec on a set key and tempo.
Chek carefully which loops u can lock.in..
Not all do the job..

listen to them 1by1 and decide..

I think you just need to take more time to build up your songs..
