I setup up my MacBook to tether my 3g and everything worked fine. The problem is now my computer isn't connecting to the internet. Airport finds the router but I can't get online. My iPhone connects to the network fine but my computer won't. Is there a solution to this problem?

Go to netgwork preferences>>>advanced>>>>TCP/IP and set it to use DHCP instead of use DHCP with manual adress and apply it. I think that will fix the problem for you.

Thanks worked like a charm. Now the tethering isn't working. I followed the steps and it worked at first. Then I couldn't find the network I created so I did it again but now it isn't working anymore.

You have to save the network in your preferences somewhere. i never tried doing it again but if you don't save it then you have to set the tether up again like you did before. There is a netshare how to thread somewhere around. Try search for it.
