Problem connecting iPad to TV, no audio playing music

Hi

So i got the AV component cable today.

I tried it just now, i have some questions.

TV shows and movies worked great, and so did slideshow of music, however, when playing music sound didnt come.

Why is that? I hoped i could use this cable to play music.

The weird thing is that when i go into slideshow and choose a song, then it plays on top of the pictures. :/ How can the song play in slideshow in pictures, but not when using ipod.

Anyone know what to do

anyone using their ipad with the component cable?

i have talked to apple, but it seems it maybe something wrong with samsung 6 series, so can anyone verify playing music from inside the ipod app works?
