Hey guys,

i own an iphone 4 gsm that i bought in 2011
a year ago i had updated this iphone to ios 7.0.4
and right after that i bought a new galaxy note which has been cracked to death 2 days ago...
so i have inserted my sim to the iphone 4 and it worked just fine accept the fact it was very slow
so i downgraded it to ios 6 using a tutorial from youtube..

The problem is that now the device is asking me for icloud ID which i really dont remember, either the password, or the icloud user name which is hidden, maybe i could of try restoring password if i had the username but i really cant remember it..

this is not a second hand phone, i bought it new from a box.. and it worked when i had the ios 7

what can i do to activate it again

i really can't affort myself a new phone right now
and i feel really dumm

Unless you figure out the iTunes username and password the phone is a brick. Apple can't help you and neither can we.

I've never seen my Apple ID greyed or starred out on an iOS device before. I call BS. Either way, if it worked on ios 7 then just restore from your ios 7 backup again. A slow working phone is better than a fast non working brick.

First of all you cannot downgrade an iphone 4 from ios 7 to 6. Unless you have full shsh blobs stored from before the proper ios version for that particular device and its not an easy process.
Second lets say we buy that and you did get it downgraded to ios 6. iOS 6 does not have the activation lock feature built in yet. That was enabled on ios 7 and above.
And also since its your phone and always been never bought used then how come all of a sudden is locked to someones icloud account? And you dont know the user ID or password of course on your phone.
Great story but whatever the issue is you cannot bypass activation lock.
You have a useless device.
