Gents,

I have had my iPhone since April and it worked like a charm until I installed the last software update for it a few weeks back. Since then it has nifty little features like the APP store etc but my email doesn't download regularly. All of a sudden I'll get 62 emails on one account, 23 on another etc. However I might not be able to get any emails over two days and then I'll get a bunch within an hour. It is frustrating.

I am using Apple Mail on my MBP, which works like a charm. The way I understood it, my iPhone is supposed to sync the accounts between itself and the MBP, which it doesn't do.

Can someone give me advice on how to proceed?

Thank you.

Do you have a MobileMe account? That's the only time the push service you refer to would work. If you don't, then you need to select how often it will check for new mail. Unfortunately that isn't always so reliable...

I now have a MobileMe account and I'm still encountering the same problem.

Should I take my phone back? I feel that this is an operator malfunction!

Hi
I seem to have the same problem but by resetting the 'network settings', it seems to leap into life. I'm also with Mobile me too.
