so recently i had to fill out a form in a PDF and it would only work in adobe, so i downloaded it and now when i try to download files that usually open in preview, now they want to open in adobe in the browser rather than download and then let me open in preview. so i tried to delete/uninstall adobe and see if that solves it but i guess it did not actually uninstall because it still is doing the same thing. I've tried it in both firefox and safari and it does the same in both.
any suggestions to how i can fix this problem? thanks.

yes, PDF type files. I tried what you suggested and no luck. it still tries to open up in adobe, and it pops up a message saying try to download in the browser and open with different program. well I cant seem to figure out how to download in through the browser, usually it would do it by itself and then i click on it and it opens in preview.
