hi guys so I have yosemite on my mac but I am trying to download a clean copy and reinstall because i am having problems.

So.. Ive downloaded a copy and tried to use diskmaker to create a bootable version but that did not go so well because maybe my download was corrupted so I delete the install yosemite app and I am trying to download it again.

but app store will not allow me to download it again under purchases it says downloaded and if i go to the product page and i click download nothing happens..

does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

You could try contacting Apple Support they are usually pretty helpful.

I remember downloading more than one copy of Mavericks without any problem. I don't see why you couldn't do the same with Yosemite!

If all else fails try a different Mac if you have one available.

Why is it: Mavericks downloading 20-25 min, but Yosemite 2-3 hours?

I managed to use my bootable back up .. boot from it and download it here... very round about way of doing it but something just wasnt right and it did not want to allow me to download another copy even though I deleted the old one.
