Problem emailing screenshot attachment

I send a jpg screenshot as an attachment in Mail, and the recipient cannot open it. All they see is a low-res thumbnail. The same screenshot opens fully on my computer however. Any suggestions please how to email a screenshot and it arrive able to be opened?

Did you change the "Image Size:" in the message to "Small"?

Check the message in your sent folder to see if the image is large or small.
