Has anybody had difficulty enabling the "Mic Boost" option for BF2's in-game VOIP? If so how did you fix it?
My mic volume is quite faint using the in-game VOIP, but if I use teamspeak people can hear me fine. I'm using a logitec headset connected via an iMic USB dongle, and for some reason the enable mic boost option in BF2's Audio options is greyed out.
In the myriad of fixes I've found on the net I've discovered that my mic is listed as a "Line-in" input source (as opposed to a microphone in XP's sound prefs) and has no boost options anywhere. Is this a problem with the audio drivers bootcamp installs?
Please help, I thought it would be simple... but I'm dealing with windows here...
