I have the following problem: the trackpad of my Macbook Air (A1466) - (Mid 2012), is working, however sometimes it is great the difficulty of making a selection of text for example. I have to position the cursor where I want to start the selection, click and hold the trackpad and wait a few seconds and then the text selection is done without problems.
Other times, I position the cursor where I want it and just drag and drop it so the text selection is done normally.
All gesture functions are working.
What could be happening to make this happen? Could it be dust accumulated since the machine was never opened?
