The OS X version of an online game I used to play has just been released. The game is called Graal Online. Anyways I download the installer, but when I click the icon it appear like it's openeing (the lines spread out, like in any other applciation) but nothing happens. I tried restarting the computer but that doesn't help. I am running the latest version of 12.02 and meet all the system requirnments. But the installer won't open. Any ideas?

A WARNING about saying a download lasts 30 seconds: Make sure YOU are the one using dial-up.

On dial-up, the file you linked to takes over an hour to download. I hate to break it to you, but I have a very big "pet peeve", if you will, about people saying a download takes some time "t", and that person is referring to the download on high speed internet.

The latest version of OS X is 10.2.6. Make sure you have that. If you are using Safari to download, try using Internet Explorer and see if you get the same problem.

I had an application just like this, Meteorologist (version 1.2.6). Sometimes the key to getting around this type of situation is to use a different version. None of the other versions of Meteoroligist had this problem.

If you can find an earlier version of the client you want to download, try that. Also, check out the user comments for what you want to download.

But try all OTHER alternatives before you blame the update: System software, different software required to download, etc.
