Hi,

Recently I had a post about receiving my first refurb macbook. Anyway, it had some minor cosmetic defects. I brought it to the Apple store asking them (nicely) to see if they could fix it. To my surprise, they just decided to give me a brand new Macboook.

Anyway, the one they gave me is the new SR 2.2 (white). It came with Leopard pre-installed. Now I want to re-install Leopard myself (don't ask why, it's a sickness I have). I pop in the Leopard CD and it restarts. After it restarted, it asks me to choose the language. Then it says "Preparing Installation". Right after that it tells me that Mac OS X cannot be installed on this computer.

Do you guys happen to know what's going on? I'm sure I've done in a few times before on the other machine, i.e. re-installing mac os x.

Thanks.
