Problem installing Windows

Hey guys,
I got my new MBP last week, and I tried installing Windows to test it's gaming capabilities. I have a burned DVD with Windows 7 and another with Windows XP, yet, every time I try it with Bootcamp, it tells me that I need to insert an install disk or something.
Any idea what I can be doing wrong?

Sounds like you didn't burn the discs right. Try an actual XP install disc.

I would love to do that, but I left it at home in Europe and I'm currently in a hotel in NY. I just want to check the graphics with a game or something if it's not defective while I'm still here. I just wanted to see if you guys had any idea if this is a common problem or something. But I have Applecare so if something does go wrong, I can get it checked out at home.
