Hi there,

This is my first post on this forum, I hope this is the right place to ask my question. (EDIT: okay, it has been moved already. ;) I apologize.)
I'm trying to install Yosemite PB2 as a VM in Parallels Desktop 10, on a Macbook Pro 13" (mid 2012), running OS 10.9.4.

Installing the OS goes just fine, The configuration assistant works, and I reach the desktop. Then, when I try to reboot Yosemite for the first time, this (screenshot in attachments) happens around 1/4 of the "loading bar". Is this a bug in the PB2, or does anyone recognize this?

Thank you very much in advance.

Could be related to using Parallels. Maybe it doesn't have support for the beta.

Can you not just install to a separate partition on your HDD and run natively? Or just upgrade and restore from Time Machine if it's not stable enough for you?

Thank you, j800r.

I think I will upgrade to 10.10 PB2 when iOS8 is available.

I can't seem to find any others with the same problem, so I don't think it's just incompatible... Maybe someone else with other ideas?
