problem joining os 10.6 server

I'm a newbie at Mac OS servers and I have a dumb question.

I set up a mac mini in raid 1 with a server running under the user admin.

i then set up a second user which will be the "everyday" user of the at computer "employee 2"

the server sent out invitations to join services to all the registered users including "employee 2".

when "employee2" logs on to the mac mini server and accepts the invitation I the server tries to join it but I end up with the following error message: "Joining server """ failed: (null).

The main features that I want "employee2" to use are file sharing, address, calendar and ichat sharing.

any ideas are truly appreciated!!!

In Workgroup Manager, make sure the home directories are set up for the users.. Although it SHOULD auto-set this up, in many instances it wont and causes this error...

when you say you "sent out invites" - what do you specifically mean by this? im confused.
