During video recording the switch from normal to macro camera almost always does not happen automatically. I have to tap on the display to make the switch work. Am I doing something wrong? I enclose a video where the switch to macro doesn't work.

Mine doesn't switch to macro mode when shooting video, the .5 option is not selectable when the video is recording either

In this video of mine( link YouTube) the switch to macro happens automatically, but it doesn't always happen. And I was wondering if my iPhone has a hardware problem.

I've just done some quick testing and it only appears to affect 4k60fps

If I choose any other format it switches to macro every time
it doesn't always work for me... I haven't tried 4k60fps

Here's a quick screen capture:

As you can see, in 4k60 it doesn't want to switch to the ultra wide lense whereas 24 and 30 fps modes work fine.. I don't know if that's by design or a bug..

@now i see it where did you see that this was a known issue?

if I select “video” without starting the video recording everything works perfectly, the problem occurs after clicking on "Record"

I confirm
40k 60fps doesn't works
30fps 1080 works fine when you zoom in.

Is this is a bug or design?

same here..... macro doesnt' work when shooting 4k60 video

does anybody if this is a defect or a design flaw?
