I have a PROBLEM - i want to make CLEAN install of MAC OS - so I want to erase disk first - but disk cannot be erased, there are multiple "partitions" on disk.

I want to have only one disk, like MACINTOSH HD and that would be it...

How can I delete all that partitions?

Thanx!!!

In the View menu of Disk Utility, select "Show all devices" and then click on the top item, which will likely be called "Apple SSD..." or similar, and then erase that. That'll get rid of all the partitions and volumes and you can then install macOS after that on the now empty disk.
