Problem of setting up proxy at my iphone

I try to follow http://cre.ations.net/blog/post/tether-your-iphone to share GPRS of my iphone with my notebook, however, when I running the script, it show me error:

Waiting for phone... established.
iPhone state: FactoryActivated
Problem starting AFC: -402653150

Any one have idea about it? BTW that me ask me to create an Adhoc network at iphone, but I try all icon and cannot see this, would anyone let me know how to do that?

If that issue cannot be solved... is there any other way to create AdHoc network with proxy for iphone?
