Hi folks.

Videos always play fine in the Photos app, until after a while where they do not. The scrubber appears on the Touch Bar, and I can hear the sound, but no movement on screen.

Exporting them out of Photos onto the desktop and playing via QuickTime is fine, and Photos always plays them after restarting the machine. When videos seize up, they also don't play when added as media to Keynote (again, a restart of the machine solves this).

This is a new machine purchased a couple of weeks ago, and the photo library is stored locally on the machine via "Download originals to this Mac". Running 10.15.5 on a MacBook Pro 13" 2020.

Any ideas? I’ve searched around and can’t find anything relating to the same problem.

P.S. Actually a restart isn’t needed - it looks like just quitting and re-opening Photos also solves it.
