Problem redeeming DP 6 download

I have just attempted to download DP 6 however upon entering the code provided in the dev centre, the app store downloaded DP 5.(previously i was running PB 1)

So I figured that perhaps DP 6 wasn't directly updatable to from PB 1, and assumed that id have to go update from DP 5.

But following the installation of DP 5 I'm finding no where that I can update to DP 6.....

Can anyone provide me with some insight into where I'm going wrong???

Have you gone to Updates on the Mac App Store? It's just like any other software update. Or click the Apple in the top menu bar, and then Software Update.

Thank you, I had checked there, but for some reason refused to load until after id restarted my computer.
Ive since been able to download it.
