I have printed out the instructions and I have bootcamp assistant on my desktop(looks like a littledisk drive)and I have bootcamp assistant installer beta.dmg.file also on desktop.how do I run the assistant to start making mac drivers cd?I'm lost.

Click on the Bootcamp Assistant (the icon that looks like the drive, and inside is a I think package file. Open that file up and it will install Boot Camp. Run boot camp and it will be pretty self explanatory. :) It'll tell you how to create the cd and do everything. It's very easy. :)

when I click on the disk looking thing marked (boot camp assistant)it just pops up the screen that says read me first,assistant installer guide,and bc assistant.I click on the package and i installed the package ,now what. These instructions stink. they just say now burn a mac driver cd.

found it in utlities folder.thanks for telling me where it was apple.

I Installed the Boot Camp Assist Pkg ... but after that there are no other instructions to follow ... not even to burn the Mac Driver Screen ?? Help Thank!

I did that and got "You must update your computer Firmware before using set up assistant" , I did Update the Firmware already! Also check under Utilities MacBooK Pro SMC Firmware Update Icon and got " your Mac Book Pro is up to date with version 1.0 of the Mac Book Pro SMC Firmware Update " would you help ? :)

I think your problem is that the firmware update you want is the 1.0.1 firmware update not the SMC firmware update. Check page 2 of the updates.
