I'm having a hard time sending attachments with the Mac email app. The problem I am having is when I drag the attachment into the body of the message window, or if I attach it by clicking on the paper clip it breaks up my message somewhere. Part of the message will be above the attachment and part will be below it. I looked to see if there was some setting to fix this and I checked under Edit that it should attach at the end of the message and send as a Windows friendly message and one or the other and it doesn't matter what I choose it still has the same problem And it doesn't matter if I send it as an icon or not, that is even worse as the icon is write in the middle of my message. The only way it attaches correctly completely under the message is if there is a choice to send the attachment Actual size but that does not show up with every attachment. Does anyone have any idea how this issue can be rectified? That's for your input.

I'm kind of a simplistic guy, so this is a simplistic answer.

Seems to me, that when you compose an email, and then "drag and drop" an attachment INTO it, that the attachment will "go" wherever the cursor (in the body of the email message) happens to be at the moment.

Now and then, if I'm not careful, the attachment can get "dropped into" the wrong place.

What I do to prevent it:
- compose my email message (the part other than the attachment)
- ADD A FEW CARRIAGE RETURNS at the end of the message.
- Make sure the cursor is "down there" where I want the attachment to go
- Now drag-n-drop the attachment into the email.
- I can then remove a carriage return or two if necessary, to "place" the attachment.

Just tried it an it works! Never thought to do that. Thanks very much for your help!
