iPod problem syncing games

Hello,

I am trying to put the Sonic game on an iPod.
Dragging it doesn't work. When I try to sync, I get a warning that the games already on the iPod and not in my library will be replaced by the new one.
Can anybody help?
Is there a way to do this without deleting or a way to transfer the iPod games back to my Mac?
