Problem Syncing New Music To iPhone 4S with Finder

Hi

I have a backup iPhone 4S which had no problems mounting on Finder and syncing music added to the Music app on Catalina until 6 Feb 2020.

I tried to do a sync today and it synced but the new songs did not transfer across to the playlists on the iPhone.

The strange thing was the album covers which are like a little collage icon on the playlist name had the covers of the new songs but search as I may I cannot find the songs on the iPhone.

I have restarted everything and resynced a few time with the same results.

Any ideas?
