Problem Syncing 'Notes'

Has anyone had luck in syncing notes between an iPad an an iPhone?

I entered several notes on my iPad expecting them to show up on my iPhone since I'm using the cloud, but nothing.

Not sure why this isn't working.

I've activated sharing on both my iPod Touch and iPad. The iPod shows everything, but the iPad only shows notes written on it. When I check the "Accounts" it doesn't list the iPod.

I just figured it out. Before, I hadn't noticed on notes on the iPad that 'Accounts' was listed. I clicked this and saw that my notes were saved 'on iPad' and not 'in cloud'.....so I copied them there and now they show up on my iPhone.

Notes created BEFORE joining the cloud are not part of the cloud. "Rewrite" your pre-iCloud notes and they will appear on all devices.

That's odd. All my notes pre-date iCloud (the newest is from August), so the iPad ones shouldn't show up on my iPod but they do.

I'm not sure what you mean by re-writing them. Do you mean copy the note and paste it into a fresh one? My iPod, which has the more important notes, has 90 notes

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Edit: I've checked under settings and both Notes apps seem to have the same settings. Might head over to the Apple store tomorrow afternoon for other stuff. Maybe the Geniuses'll figure it out.

I have the same problem. I've checked that all of my iCloud settings are correct, but my notes aren't syncing between my iPad and iPhone.

Here's what my setup looks like. What do I need to do to sync my Notes to iCloud???

See that Notes for iCloud is turned on:

When I go into the setting for my Notes application, this is displayed. Notice that there's only the "on my iPhone" option. There is no other iCloud option. What do I need to do to sync my Notes to iCloud?

Had to delete iCloud, hard reset then activating iCloud again fixed the issue for me. Kind of sucks that you have to do that, but oh well, it worked.
