Problem transmitting and accepting sound waves

Was on the beach walking in the surf. Big wave came from no where and crashed on the sand mound behind me, splashing driplets of water all over my exposed iphone hooked to my hip.

phone works fine. external speakers and headphones work fine. i cant hear incoming calls or transmissions and people cant hear me. this happened to anyone?? can anyone please assist?

liquid damage is not covered under warranty, so there is likely nothing that they can do for you unfortunately.
