Problem using forums on iPad

My question is this:

When reading forums on my iPad, sometimes I want to reply to a thread and inculde a quote, such as in the picture I included. Sometimes the quote text is larger than the reply box and I would need to scroll down to the bottom to post my own reply, but there is no mouse cursor or arrow keys on the iPad. How can I scroll down to the bottom of this quote to type something?

I've been struggling with that for so long! I never knew it before now, you should add it to the tips and tricks thread.

I just press and hold and scroll down with the little magnifine glass.
