My iPod classic has sat around for a couple months. I was prepping it for a flight and decided just to format it, so I could start fresh with putting songs on it.
When I started trying to restore factory settings, it started doing it, but said I needed to have a wall plug connected. I lost my wall plug,so I stopped by Best Buy to see if they could plug it into one of theirs to jumpstart the process and then I could finish at home.
When they plugged it in, the screen saying "Plug in to wall socket" vanished, and wouldn't come back. The iPod does nothing now. When I connect it to my computer, it doesn't get recognized.
Anyone encountered anything like this before? Have any advice?
