My friend has a 2G iPod Nano and she is having porblems having her music play. The device is, according to her, fully functional and everything works except for sound coming out of the ear buds.

I promised her I would take a look at it tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had any tips as to what I should try...

Any suggestions as to what it can be?

Any suggestions as to what I should try?

Thank You,
Adam

I would try restoring it to see if that fixes it, also try other headphones first to make sure they are not the problem. Other than that it is probably a hardware problem and if it still has warranty left take it to Apple.

Thanx... But...

That is great advise however when I am looking at the iPod itself I will not have access to her computer or any computer with iTunes on it at all.

Any settings on the actual device that I could try?
