How are u people?

I just finished with the installation of windows XP SP2 on my MacBook Air, it all went fine.. but at the moment when I inserted my Leopard disk in order to install the drivers, the screen turned blue and the computer rebooted by itself in a matter of seconds.

I've tried 3 times by now and keep doing the same. I really need help on this, so please if anybody knows what to do I'll appreciate it.

Thanks and keep Appleing :p

By the way, I installed the same windows XP CD on my MacBook Pro before trying with the MacBook Air, and there was no problem at all. The drivers got installed, the hole process went ok. But I'm having problems with the Air, anybody knows why?

Hmmm.. I'm using an original Leopard disk, but not the one that comes with the MBA when you purchase it (I don't have it), I'm using a Leopard disk I bought by itself.

I used the same disk on my MacBook pro either, and there was no problem.

I would be inclined to locate the MBA original DVD set and use them. I too have installed Windows using BootCamp to older MBP's using the retail version of Leopard and all went well. However when I installed to the MBA I used the set that came with the system and all went well (after I kluged an optical drive setup).

The same is probably the case with the Unibody MBP. You should use the DVDs that came with the system (as the drivers are most likely specific to the new system).

Apple would sell a set of MBA DVDs and you probably know someone that has a set that you could use.

Neil.
