Hi,

I have 2 macs, a MacBook Pro which I use as a desktop and a MacBook which I use as a laptop. I also have an iPhone 3g. I use MobileMe to sync both my contacts and calendar between all 3 devices. I have heard various rumours of people struggling with duplicating calendar entries and duplicating contacts.
My problem is that my contacts regularly duplicate if I add/edit them. Is there a way of stopping this? It is very annoying and can be very time consuming trying to solve!
Thanks for any input,

Nigel

Sorry, just to clarify, my problem is that my contacts are duplicating multiple times - sometimes up to 10 times!

very strange indeed .... I would recommend you find the root cause of this before you cleanup to avoid having to cleanup again, and again.

have you checked the settings of all the computers connected to mobileme

Duplicate tool in address book

In 'Address Book'.... click the 'Card' menu in the toolbar, then click 'Look for Duplicates'... problem solved! :)
