I've bought a DVI-Video adapter and connected my MacMini to a TV using the S-Video cable. It worked perfectly, the output resolution of the Monitor was automatically set by the MacMini to a proper setting for output to the TV and I've got the TV working as a display (for watching video it's enough and OK).

The PROBLEM was when I disconnected the DVI/Video adapter and tried to connect again the LCD monitor on the DVI output: the monitor remained black and no chance to see nothing ! (even coming back and connecting the TV to see something and try to setup the resolution back to the LCD values 1280x1024 or similar). The only possibility was to switch-off and reboot.

Does anybody already solved the problem to connect TV and LCD without having to reboot every time ?

Thanks.
G.
