problem with facebook messenger videos

hey. I just noticed that when I try to play a video that someone sent me on Facebook Messenger, it wont play.

Nothing happens when I press the play-button. It's not even loading.

Anyone knows what the problem might be? I dont have any facebook tweaks installed.

I had that problem too. What I did is that I uninstalled the Messenger and installed it back again. My vpn helps me protected whenever a virus is attempting to be in my computer. Kindly check and have a deep scan on your device to know what really is the problem, or ask a technician near you to be more sure.
