i just recently discovered the wonders of macthripper and handbrake lite and what those 2 apps. can do towards putting movies onto the 5th gen ipod. so far, every movie i've tried (about 10) has worked fine except my favorite movie... Pulp Fiction. the frustration of it all has made me want to heave my powerbook out the door. mactheripper does what it does to the pulp fiction dvd disk but then hanbrake says "no valid files found." what do i do? i've tried to use handbrake dirrectly from the disk but that doesn't work either... just takes out one of the previews.

In the source area, are you sure you are picking the correct part of the movie. Most times it will correctly auto pick, but other times it doesn't.
