My wake-up alarm used to be bulletproof, and rang each morning without fail. Lately, it works sometimes. Other times, it will ring once or twice, then fall silent (the phone appears to lock up, and the wake-up or snooze message is displayed). Still, other times, it won't ring at all (here, the wake-up message or snooze message are displayed, same "lock up" issues). My phone's in the charger at night, usually.

I no longer trust my phone to wake me up, and this is a big problem. The issue is not a volume issue.

Any ideas what's going on?? 2.0 has been really buggy in my experience.

Interesting. I haven't had a problem yet with my alarms on both a first generation and second generation iPhone. (Both with firmware 2.0) It has never failed me yet. I still do not trust electronics, as I set a second alarm for 10 minutes after the first just in case

Hmm, only thing I can suggest is going through all the restarting, resetting, resyncing, re-doing stuff, which you already knew/have done.

thanks for your thoughts. very difficult to trouble shoot because it's random and unpredictable. I've been using a backup alarm of late, too. oh well.
