I just got my new ipod! yay! Ive set up all the software and registering stuff on my pc, and now when Im transferring my music onto the ipod itunes just crashes midway through. Ive tried a couple of times and it keeps crashing, and then everything thats been transferred up to that point gets deleted. Does anyone know why?

No, that's strange. My iTunes has never had such a problem. My best advice is uninstall itunes then reinstall.

Congrats on your new ipod!

agreed

i agree with the above post, try reinstalling itunes and if that dont work send the ipod to me and ill take good care of it:D im also assuming ur on windows not mac right?

yes, i am using windows xp. if i uninstall and then reinstall itunes will my library still stay the same afterwards? also.. its not just with music, ive tried snycing photos to the ipod and the same thing happens. with the music i ended up transferring it manually like album by album, and still it crashed a couple of times, but at least i didnt lose the stuff i had put on before.

oh yeh, and is there any other way of putting photos on other than syncing with itunes? thanks!

if it gets up to a certain song every time and crashes, try taking the song off the list and doing it. the samething happened my my ipod and my sisters
