problem with mapping network

I am attempting to map a network drive from Mac OS X (tiger) to PC *and I get to the point (SMB/CIFS File System Authentication) where it ask for the workgroup or domain, name, and password, then there is where it fails. *I know for a fact that the username and password are correct but cannon figure out why the server is rejecting it. *- ANY assistance is appreciated. *
