So today I experience the blackscreen again when trying to wake up the computer. I held down the power button to force a shutdown. And when I restart it, I got some warnings saying I need to repair the hard disk.

And I found a Tiger installation DVD (although my OS is Leopard right now), trying to boot from the DVD to get to the repair disk utility by holding down C while rebooting. Nothing happened, the system still booted directly to Leopard. I tried several times and got the same thing.

Did I do sth wrong here?

Also, after several reboot, now verifying disk gives me a "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK"...what the...

But the Disk Permission gives a lot "ACL found but not expected" & "Warning: SUID file ... has been modified and will not be repaired"... is that normal?
