Problem with Navigon Regions

I have the West Region of Navigon's GPS app. I am pretty happy with it on my 3G but now using it on the i4, the volume seems very low. I can barely hear it even though the volume is all the way up. This is still version 1.0, and seems like it's never updated. What is going on?

Yes that is all the way up too.

Ah, ok. I was experiencing the same issue as you, but when I went into options the volume was turned almost all the way down.

Is the volume soft if you use the iPod controls in Navigon?

I haven't tried the iPod controls. Are they going to update the app?

Try the iPod controls within Navigon to see if the volume is low when using them as well. And I don't know the answer to the second half of the question. FWIW Navigon Regions works great on my iPhone 4.
