In our classroom, we had an iMac (7,1) hooked up to a inFocus projector. The old iMac ran 10.4.11.

I'm trying now to hook it up to a new iMac (11,3) and can't get the inFocus to recognize the new mac. The projector seemed to work fine with a MacBook running 10.6 so I'm baffled as to why it won't recognize the iMac with the same system.

I've tried multiple resolutions to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Actually, I did that before coming here and was told to check the adapter. I did and it was indeed a bad adapter. Case solved. Thanks.

Trying to hook up my InFocus projector to my Imac 10.4.11 desktop?

Can infocussupport assist me with this problem?
